I see many lifters at the gym, they have been working out for
years, yet only a few seem to be putting on muscle - aside
from genetics and diet, what separates the big gainers from
others that seem to be spinning their wheels?
Answer:
In my many years of bodybuilding training and experience genetics
are a big factor in the foundation for overall muscle growth. One,
has to be able to withstand a very high pain level while using very
heavy weights. This is what I personally feel separates the top
bodybuilders from the rest of the pack.Self motivation is also a
key factor. Hit two body parts a day in a five day workout once a
week.Get 6-9 hours of sleep each night.
Question:
What type of training do you prefer ? Machines or Free Weights ?
Answer:
I like to use various machines and barbells, and dumbbells to
stay creative in my training. Every two to four weeks you should
change up your routine a little. Just keep it basic and simple.
